Public Service Commission (Log Sewa Aayog) was established in Nepal on 15 June 1951 A.D. The Commission is involved in selecting meritorious candidates required by Government of Nepal for various vacant posts of the civil service. The continuity of PSC has never been hindered since its establishment. Present Constitution of Nepal 2007(2063 BS) has designated the Public Service Commission as an independent constitutional body.

Province Lok Sewa Aayog (Public Service Commission), Lumbini Province has published vacancy calendar for the year 2077/2078.The vacancy will be published for the officer and assistant level technical and non-technical groups.

Yearly Calendar 2077/ 2078 consists of details regarding exam conducted by Public Service Commission. Further, it consists of following details
> Dates of publication of vacancy advertisement (Tentative)
> Dates of Examination
> Dates of Interview
> Recommendation Dates
for both Assistant and Officer Level positions.

According to the schedules, vacancies will be published on the last Friday of Falgun, Chaitra, Baishakh, Jetha, and Ashad as per the positions and level.
