The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) was established under a special act, The Nepal Chartered Accountants Act, 1997 to enhance social recognition and faith of people at large in the accounting profession by raising public awareness towards the importance of accounting profession as well as towards economic and social responsibility of the accountants, and to contribute towards economic development of the country. The Institute is an autonomous body and is fully authorized by the Act to regulate accountancy profession in Nepal.

VACANCY NOTICE
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal, (ICAN) announces vacancy for various Administrative and Technical positions. These vacant positions will be fulfilled by open and inclusive competitive examination.

The following are the details and requirements for applicants interested in this position.

Position: Senior Officer (7th), Officer (6th), Sr. Assistant (5th)
> Service: Administrative and Technical positions
> No. of vacancies:3
> Level: 7th, 6th and 5th
> Qualification: SEE/ Bachelor/ CA

Other Details:
> Mode of Evaluation: Written, computer skill test/ Practical, Group Discussion & Presentation and interview as prescribed in the syllabus of the respective post.
> Examination Center: Kathmandu
> Examination: The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.

Application Fees:
Level 7: Rs. 1,200/- (One thousand two hundred)
Level 6: Rs. 1,000/- (One thousand)
Level 5: Rs. 700/- (Seven hundred)
 Candidates applying for additional advertisements under inclusive groups must pay an additional fee for each additional group.

Age Limit
Candidates must have completed 18 years and must not have exceeded 35 years for assistant-level positions, and must have completed 21 years and must not have exceeded 35 years for officer-level positions. In the case of women and candidates with disabilities, the age must not exceed 40 years. The age limit will not apply to permanent employees currently serving at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal.
