Context:
Background Information
The Human Resources Unit is part of Resources Management which is responsible for overseeing all Human Resources activities of the mission in Kathmandu and Damak.

Supervision
Under the overall supervision of Head of Resources Management Officer and direct supervision of National Human Resources Officer and in cooperation with other colleagues of the Human Resources Unit, the Intern will assist the following activities of Human Resources Unit of the mission. Tasks will include:

Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
> Bachelor’s degree in arts, Social Sciences/Social Work or related discipline from an accredited academic institution; or
> High School degree in above fields.

Experience
> Practical experience of how-to multi-task, prioritize and work independently;
> Practical experience with data management, data entry and maintaining data accuracy;

Skills
> Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies and practices;
> Have a basic understanding of Human Resources work;
> Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team of colleagues of varied cultural and professional backgrounds;
> Proven ability to produce quality work accurately and concisely according to set deadlines.

Languages
> For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written)
