St. Xavier's College, located at Maitighar, Kathmandu is an educational institution of higher learning established in 1988 AD. St.Xavier's College promotes constructive student-teacher contact and encourages students to develop their full potential for leadership.

St. Xavier's College, Maitighar, Kathmandu, has published Entrance examination and admissions information for Grade XI in Science for the academic year 2025 (2082).

Admission is completely merit based. No recommendation regarding admission will be entertained. Any direct or indirect untoward influence will result in a demerit for the candidate. A candidate can apply only for one group, either Biology or Computer. Group once chosen cannot be changed.

Key Dates
1. Forms can be filled and submitted online from the college website: www.sxc.edu.np

2. A proper and active email ID is essential for all applicants. The admit card and other information related to entrance examination will be sent to the email ID submitted in the application form.

3. Rs. 125/- has to be paid as application form charge online through Khalti or E-Sewa.
- Online Forms Opening date: June 27, 2025 (Ashad 13, 2082 Thursday)
- Last day of form submission: July 10, 2025 (Ashad 26, 2082) till 12:00 pm.
- Entrance exam details will be published on the website by evening July 11, 2025.

4. Entrance Test: July 12, 2025 Saturday

5. Applicants must attend the exam in the allotted shift. The duration of the exam is mentioned in the admit cards. No additional arrangements will be made for late comers or the ones who miss the allotted shift.
- Applicants must report to the college exactly at the time as mentioned in the admit card.
- Use the NORTH GATE for ENTRY and the MAIN GATE (South ) for EXIT.
- Things to bring for the Entrance Exam: 1. Admit Card SEE (original) 2. SXC Entrance Exam  Admit Card (Color Printed Copy), 3. Pencil (At least 2B) or black pen, Eraser and Ordinary Calculator. No other electronic devices or smart watch are allowed. Mobiles must be switched off at the gate.
- The entrance examination will test the knowledge of the candidate in English, Mathematics and Science through objective questions.

6. Entrance Result will be published by 12:00 pm (noon) on July 13, 2025  Sunday on the college website.
- Interview Date: July 14, 2025 Monday  10:30 am onwards.
- Candidates must be present with their parents or responsible guardian for the interview.

They must bring:
i. SEE Grade Sheet and Admit Card
ii. Character certificate (if available)
iii. SXC Entrance Exam Admit Card

7. Final Admission List will be published on the college website on July 15, 2025 Tuesday by 11 a.m.

8. Admission Schedule:
July 16, 2025 Wednesday (10:00 am to 2: 00 pm)
July 17, 2025, Thursday (10:00 am to 2:00 pm)

The admission of the student will be automatically cancelled if the Grade Sheet or Character Certificate is found fake.

9. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

Final decision of all the applicants is left to the College Admission Committee.

ST. XAVIER'S COLLEGE IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH ANY COACHING/BRIDGE COURSE INSTITUTE.

St. Xavier's College DOES NOT HAVE a parking facility for the applicants. Candidates are requested to use public transport or use pick and drop.

Note:
The candidates in the waiting list of Final Admission List will be contacted by the college on the basis of the merit if any candidate in the regular list fails to admit in the time given.

Admission Criteria
- The eligibility criteria to apply for the entrance examination to grade XI is as stated by CDC/NEB.
- Admission at this college is based on the merit the applicant has secured in the SEE examination and the entrance examination conducted by the college.
- St. Xavier's offers Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science only as optional subjects besides English, Nepali, and Mathematics as Compulsory subjects.
- After the written entrance examination, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview by a panel of experts before being finally selected for admission.

Examination Day Requirements
- Your printed admit-card (No cell phones and other smart gadgets are allowed)
- A 2B pencil or darker HB, a tool box with Ordinary Calculator, eraser, sharpener and other tools.

No one is allowed to share the tools during examination.
