Council for Technical Education and Vocation (CTEVT) announces admissions in PCL Nursing in the full fee-paying category for the academic year 2082/83.

CTEVT PCL Nursing aims to produce a middle level nursing work force who is independent and competent to assume the responsibility to carry out the function of preventive, primitive, curative, rehabilitative and holistic care of an individual/group at hospital and in community settings.

All eligible individuals who meet the eligibility criteria for full-fee approved programs and quota seats, as per the 'Diploma and Certificate Level Trainee Selection, Scholarship Distribution and Admission Directive, 2082', are required to submit their online application through the Examination Control Office's ITMS system on the following details:

Required Minimum Educational Qualifications
A) For Candidates with Academic Qualifications in the Percentage Grading System
Certificate Level Nursing/Midwifery
- Passed SLC or equivalent from a recognized educational institution with compulsory subjects Mathematics, English, and Science, with at least second division or a minimum of 45% aggregate marks; or passed Technical SLC/Pre-Diploma level in a related subject of an ongoing program with a minimum aggregate score of 68.33%.

B) For Candidates with Academic Qualifications in the Letter Grading System
For Health-Related Programs
- Passed SEE or equivalent from a recognized educational institution, having taken compulsory English, Mathematics, and Science subjects, with a minimum of 2.0 GPA; or passed Technical SLC/Pre-Diploma level in a related subject of an ongoing program with a minimum aggregate score of 68.33%.

C) For the Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering, candidates must have passed Certificate Level or Grade 12 with Science subjects from a recognized educational institution. The duration of the academic program for the Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering is 18 months, while the duration for all other academic programs is 3  years.

Two types of scholarships, merit and classified, are available for eligible and deserving students.

Merit Scholarship
A merit scholarship will be awarded to one student who has obtained the highest marks among the candidates selected from the full-fee targeted category quota and the full-fee quotas who have filled out the application forms for admission in each educational institution.

This scholarship will be applicable only for the first year or semester. For the second year or semester, it will be awarded to the candidate who obtained the highest marks in the previous year or semester.

Classified (Free) Scholarship
10% of the seats of the total enrollment capacity of a program is secured for the classified (free) scholarship quota. Candidates who have studied in government or community schools and council-affiliated constituent technical schools must fill out a separate online application form.
