Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science and Technology (IOST), Dean’s office Balkhu has published the result of the entrance examination for the Four Year bachelor’s level Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc CSIT) 2083.

TU conducted the entrance examination of BSc CSIT using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology for the first time on the examination day.

The entrance examination was held on 24 Shrawan 2083 (9 August 2026). For BSc CSIT program, 3,105 seats are available for study quotas across the country

BSc CSIT Priority Form 2083
Candidates who have passed the entrance examination can also download their individual Score-Sheets. Furthermore, successful students are notified that they can fill out the Campus/College Priority Form (to indicate their preferred campus/college) from Sharwan 25 ( 10 August 2026) till Sharwan 31, 2083 (16 August 2026).

Samabesi Quota
The Samabeshi Quota is an excellent opportunity for students from marginalized communities to access higher education in prestigious fields including BSc CSIT, BIT programs. Those candidates who wish to apply under Samabesi Quota should have completed their school education from Grade 8 to Grade 12 in a government or public (community) school. A total of 622 seats are reserved for such students.
