ELIGIBILITY:
Grade 12 Passed 2079 B.S. onwards
- Minimum D grade in each subject of grade 11 and 12 with a CGPA 1.8 or more
- A minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent in any discipline.
- Students who have passed grade 11 and are waiting for grade 12 results can also apply. However, they have to submit all the required documents at the time of admission.
Grade 12 Passed before 2079 B.S.
- Minimum D+ grade in each subject of grade 11 and 12 with a CGPA 2.0 or more
- A minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent in any discipline.
BCA Entrance Examination and Format:
Candidates wishing to enroll for BCA at TU should appear in the Entrance examination administered by the Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences (FOHSS), TU. The format of the entrance examination is given below:
- Total no. of Questions = 100 (MCQ-based)
- Total marks: 100
- Pass marks: 40
- Duration: 2 hours.

Entrance Syllabus
The Examination has three primary areas – English Grammar, Mathematics and General Knowledge with Grammar carrying 40% of the marks, Mathematics with 50% of the marks and General Knowledge carrying 10% of the total marks.

1. English Grammar :40%
2. Mathematics :50%
3. General Knowledge : 10%
