Tribhuvan University has approved and implemented a new academic calendar for the Master's Level Semester Program for the Academic Year 2081 across its faculties and institutes in order to streamline its academic operations.

On the 28th of Ashadh, 2081, the Office of the Academic Registrar issued a formal notification instructing the concerned bodies (All Institutes / Faculties / Constituent Campuses / Central Departments / Departments / Programs and all other bodies) under Tribhuvan University to ensure that the new calendar is implemented smoothly.

First Semester

Entrance/Admission: 2081 Paush
Class Start : 2081 Magh 1st Week
Exam : 4th Week of Chaitra
Result : 4th week of Asar

Second Semester
Title : Date
Class Start : 2082 Jestha 3rd week
Exam : 3rd week of Bhadra
Result : 3rd week of Mangsir

Third Semester

Result: 1st week of Baisakh

Fourth Semester

Note
The following conditions to be applied while executing this calendar.
> All practical exams (practicum) to be completed within 2 weeks after final exams.
> TU's regional exam offices will oversee the regulation of practical exams.
> If there are internships available for any existing or prospective future courses or programs, special consideration should be given to them.
> Sports week: Paush 1st week every year.
> Free Student's Union Election: 2081 Falgun 15; 2083 Falgun 14.
> There will be 1-2 week semester break.
