Tribhuvan University has approved and implemented a new academic calendar for the Bachelor's Level Semester Program for the Academic Year 2081 across its faculties and institutes in order to streamline its academic operations.

On the 28th of Ashadh, 2081, the Office of the Academic Registrar issued a formal notification instructing the concerned bodies (All Institutes / Faculties / Constituent Campuses / Central Departments / Departments / Programs and all other bodies) under Tribhuvan University to ensure that the new calendar is implemented smoothly.

Proposed Generic Academic Calendar of Bachelor’s Level Semester Program for Academic Year 2081

> Each year, the MBBS admission will be decided in consultation with the Medical Education Commission of Nepal.
> If there are internships available for any existing or prospective future courses or programs, special consideration should be given to them.
> Free Students' Union Election: 2081 Falgun 15; 2083 Falgun 14
> SPORTS WEEK: The first week of Paush each year.
> There will be 1-2 week semester break instead of winter and summer break.
> Make-up exam will be held in Mangsir 2nd week.
