The National Examination Board, Examination Control Office (Grade 10), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur has published the examination routine for the SEE Supplementary (Grade improvement) Examination 2082. A total of 430,667 students appeared in this year’s regular SEE examination. Of them, 284,160 students were graded, while 146,507 students were non-graded.

Eligibility for Supplementary (Grade Increment) exam
All regular candidates who have participated in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2082,  which was held from Chaitra 19,2082 BS and were unable to obtain grades are eligible to appear in the supplementary exam. This grade improvement exam provides an important opportunity for students to improve their academic standing and continue their education, demonstrating the board's commitment to students' educational advancement.

Under the new arrangement, regular examinees will be allowed to sit for Supplementary (Grade Increment) Examinations in all subjects in which they obtained an ‘NG’. Previously, students were allowed to take grade improvement examinations only in certain subjects. This year, however, the board has adopted a more flexible policy, citing students’ convenience. As a result, students can now appear for Supplementary (Grade Increment) Examination in every subject in which they failed to secure the minimum grade.

Examination Date:
SEE Grade Increment (Supplementary)  will begin on Ashar 1, 2083 BS  ((15 June 2026,Monday) and end on Asar 9, 2083 BS (23 June 2026, Tuesday).

Nepal's Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel, has announced on 29 Baisakh 2083 (Tuesday) that students who received a non-grade on the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) will receive further supplementary exam preparation classes from the government.

SEE 2082 Result Statistics
National Examination Board (NEB), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, published the results of this year's Secondary Education Examinations (SEE) 2082 BS on 28 Baisakh 2083 BS (11 May 2026 AD). A total of 65.98 per cent of students secured grades and qualified for further studies, marking a rise from last year’s 61.81 percent. 284,160 students passed the examination, while 146,507 were placed in the non-graded category.

In terms of grade distribution for SEE 2082 Result, 48,392 students secured GPA 3.60–4.00, while 80,372 students scored between GPA 3.20 and 3.60. Likewise, 94,222 students obtained GPA 2.80–3.20, and 55,977 students fell in the GPA range of 2.40–2.80. Similarly, 5,190 students scored between GPA 2.00 and 2.40, while seven students secured GPA between 1.60 and below 2.00.

NEB has authorised various government and private institutions to disseminate the results through multiple platforms. Students can check their SEE results via various official websites, SMS, and IVR services.
