SEE 2083-2082 (2026) Results : How to check SEE Results with Marksheet Online ?
National Examinations Board (NEB),Examination Controller’s Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has published SEE 2082 results for both regular and grade increment candidates.
In accordance with the new examination methodology, which aims to publish results within a month, the answer sheets were examined within specified centers.
According to the results under regular category, Seven students got 1.60 to 2 GPA. Similarly, 5190 students got GPA 2 to 2.40, 55977 students got GPA 2.40 to 2.80, 94222 students got GPA 2.80 to 3.20 and 80,372 students got GPA 3.20 to 3.60. Likewise, 48,392 students scored from 3.60 to 4 , the NEB stated. 146,507 students were classified as non-graded (NG).
Last year, 271,299 students had passed the SEE, with a pass rate of 61.81 percent.

This year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) began on (Thursday, 2 April 2026 ) and concluded on Chaitra 29, 2082 (April 12, 2026). The three-hour examinations began daily at 8:00 am.
A total of 512,421 students appeared for the SEE. A total of 257,613 female students, 254,801 male students, and seven others participated in the examination. Additionally, 23 students took the exam from a exam center in Japan. A total of 1,965 exam centers were set up across Nepal, with an additional center in Japan, bringing the total to 1,966. Students from 11,379 schools appeared for the exams.
Kathmandu had the highest number of candidates, while Manang had the fewest. In Kathmandu, 41,155 students appeared for exams across 135 centers, whereas Manang had a single center with 37 students. The Japan center accomodated 23 students. Of the total candidates, 441,566 appeared for the regular examination, while 70,855 took the grade improvement exam. Students who have failed in the past are given at least three opportunities to retake the exams.

Around 73,500 personnel, including superintendents, assistants, invigilators and security forces, were been deployed for the management of SEE.

SEE Letter Grading Directives 2083
The SEE Grading System in Nepal, revised for 2083, uses a 4.0 GPA letter-grading scale. Theoretical and internal assessment marks will be converted to grades. Failure to achieve 35% in any subject will result in a Non-Graded (NG) designation on the certificate.. [ VIEW DETAILS ]
