National Examination Board (NEB) has published notice regarding Grade Increment (Supplementary Examination) for the students of Grade 12 examination 2083 (2026).

NEB has scheduled the Grade Increment Examination for Grade 12 on 2 Shrawan 2083 ( Saturday) and 3 Shrawan 2083 ( Sunday).

The results of Grade 12 Examination was published on 5 Asar 2083, Friday (19 June 2026) by NEB. According to the results published, 35.87 percent of students received a non-grade or failed the exams, while 64.13 percent passed. A total of 332,241 regular students appeared for the exams. Of these, 231,770 students passed.

A total of 418,170 students appeared in the Grade 12 examination in 2083. The exams was held across 1421 exam centres across 77 districts.

Eligibility for Grade Increment (Supplementary/ Chance) examination
The Grade Increment (Supplementary/ Chance) examination is only for regular examinees of the Grade 12 annual examination held in Baishakh 2082 whose registration numbers start with '82'. Students who participated in the examination and obtained a minimum grade of 'D' or above in other subjects in the theoretical part and 'NG' (Not Graded) in the remaining two subjects, or obtained a minimum grade of 'D' or above in other subjects in the theoretical part and were absent in a maximum of two subjects, or obtained a minimum grade of 'D' or above in other subjects in the theoretical part and obtained 'NG' (Not Graded) in one subject or were absent in one subject, can participate in the examination.

Grade Increment Exam 2083 Details:
- Grade increment Examination date: 2 Shrawan 2083 ( Saturday) and 3 Shrawan 2083 ( Sunday)
- Examination Time: 11 AM to 2 PM
- Application Submission Deadline: Asar 19, 2083
- Application Fee: NPR 800 per student
- Application Deadline with Late Fee: Asar 26, 2083
- Late Fee: NPR 1,600 per student
- Applications should be submitted through the respective school.
- Payment voucher or proof of online payment must be attached with the application form.

EXAMINATION DATES AND SUBJECTS:
Examination Time: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Date: 2 Shrawan, 2083 ( 18 July 2026), Saturday
- Subject:  Compulsory English (0041)
- All subjects for students appearing in only one subject
- For students taking two subjects, choose the one with the smallest code number. Students taking both Compulsory English (0041) and Compulsory Nepali (0021) must take the English (0041) exam on the first day and the Nepali (0021) exam on the second day.

Date: 3 Shrawan, 2083 ( 19 July 2026), Sundary
- For students appearing in two subjects, the subject with the higher code number. (Compulsory English (0041) examination will not be conducted on this day.
