The National Examinations Board (NEB) has published results of Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results. The Board has published the results as per the system adopted in 2072 BS.   

Students from 11,829 schools, including 7,200 community and 4,564 institutional ones appeared in the SEE which was held from 31st March to 9th April this year.

SEE Results: Reports improved results this year
Of 484,939 students who took the 10th-grade final examination, 22,475 graduated with Grade Point Average (GPA) 3.60 and above. The maximum GPA a student can score is 4. Similarly, 55,069 students secured 3.20 to 3.60 GPA while 72,365 students managed to secure GPA between 2.80 to 3.20.

The number of students graduating with 2.40 to 2.80 GPA stood at 89,331. The number of students who scored between 2.0 and 2.4 GPA is 102,293, which is the highest among all the groups. Meanwhile, 2.89 percent (13,992) of the total examinees failed to secure any grades.

Understanding Your SEE Result: Grading System
The NEB published the results according to the 2072 BS system. According to the system of the year 2072, there is a provision that students will pass even if they get 35 percent marks in theory and practical combined. According to the system of 2072, those who score 90 to 100 percent get a grade of A Plus, those who score between 80 and 90 get a grade of A, those who score between 70 and 80 B Plus, those who score between 60 to 70 are B, those who score between 50 and 60 get a grade of C Plus, those who score between 40 and 50 get a grade of C, those who score between 30 to 40 are D plus, those who score 20 to 30 get a grade of D and those who score less than 20 are given E grade.

According to the new guidelines 2078, students must score 35 percent in theoretical subjects. According to the new system, those who score less than 35 percent in all subjects will be kept as non-graded. This arrangement will be implemented from next year.

The grading table for the SEE Results is as follows:

- A+ Grade (Outstanding);  Score Range: 90 to 100% ; Grade Point - 4.0
- A Grade (Excellent); Score Range: 80 to less than 90% ; Grade Point - 3.6
- B+ Grade (Very Good); Score Range: 70 to less than 80% ; Grade Point - 3.2
- B Grade (Good) ; Score Range: 60 to less than 70% ; Grade Point - 2.8
- C+ Grade (Satisfactory) ; Score Range: 50 to less than 60% ; Grade Point - 2.4
- C Grade (Acceptable) ; Score Range: 40 to less than 50% ; Grade Point - 2.0
- D Grade (Basic) ; Score Range: 35% to less than 40% ; Grade Point - 1.6
- Non-graded ; Score Range: Below 35% ; No Grade Point
