A significant change to the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) evaluation procedure has been introduced by the National Examination Board (NEB).The NEB has decided to check answer scripts for SEE directly at the respective exam centers.

The goal of the change is to published SEE results in less than a month,  addressing long-standing delays that previously caused stress among students. The decision follows instructions from Education Minister Sasmita Pokhrel, who has pushed for faster result publication.  In case of teacher shortage or security issues, evaluation centers can be shifted with coordination support.

Answer sheets from one province were often sent to another for grading in previous years, and evaluated at confidential centers, ,often delaying results until mid-June. But this year, assessments will take place at the the exam centers themselves

SEE 2082 exams starts from Chaitra 19, 2082 BS across 1,966 examination centers, with over 5.12 lakh students, including one center in Japan. The board says all preparations are complete and has requested a fair and peaceful exam environment.

Earlier, the Government of Nepal banned all bridge courses and entrance preparation classes for students up to the +2 level which aims to stop the growing commercialization of the education sector.
