Course Description:

Introduced by the Tribhuvan University, Department of Home Science in 1996, the Post Graduate Diploma in Women Studies emphasizes gender and its associated themes. The principal objective is to mold professionally qualified individuals capable of contributing to organizations that ardently champion the cause of women's empowerment and gender equality. The program transitioned to a semester schedule in the academic year 2076/077.

The goal of this course is to produce professionally qualified graduates who will work with development organizations that promote women's empowerment and gender equality.
