Course Description:

Pokhara University's Master of Bioinformatics program lasts two years and is divided into four semesters. This course is available at Pokhara University's School of Engineering. Pokhara University's M. Sc. Bioinformatics program aims to provide knowledge and skills in the generation, storage, retrieval, analysis, and interpretation of biological data. It allows students to gain knowledge and skills in the acquisition, storage, retrieval, analysis, and interpretation of molecular data in order to identify and/or solve biological problems. For graduation, a student must successfully complete 45 credit hours of course work and 15 credit hours of research.

Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission on M.Sc Bioinformatics program must have four years Bachelor of Sciences in Biological, Medical, Biomedical, Pharmaceutical, Physical, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree with a score of at least second division or 2.0/4.0 CGPA.
