Course Description:

The main aim of this program is to prepare competent and transformative teachers, teacher trainers, teacher educators, education leaders, material developers and researchers who could contribute for the development of education in the country. They will be able to follow the latest principles and methodology in teaching, undertake small scale research to improve their own pedagogical skill, design and deliver short term teacher development packages for teachers, develop appropriate curricula, textbooks, modules and projected and non-projected materials, and educate pre-service and in-service teachers for effective teaching.

Eligibility for Enrollment
For Enrollment to the two-year M.Ed. program, those having a B. Ed. / PGDE/ BA in relevant area with at least second division or CGPA 2.5 will be eligible candidates. However, those having a non-education background will have to take extra course as specified by School of Education.

Syllabus

Program Structure
The program is of four semesters. Apart from 47-credit hours of taught courses, students will undertake a 6-credit research dissertation and a 3-credit internship/practicum.
