Course Description:
Diploma in Food and Dairy Technology from CTEVT is program that combines knowledge of food processing, preservation, and dairy production. It prepares students for technical roles in food industries and quality assurance units.
The aim of the program is to produce middle-level manpower needed by food and dairy industries in Nepal. After completing the course, students will be able to contribute both in production and quality control. The will also be able to set up small-scale industries.
It is an academic program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the science, technology, and processes involved in the production of food and dairy products. The course covers topics such as food processing, preservation, packaging, and quality control, as well as the principles of dairy technology and the production of dairy products such as milk, cheese, butter, yogurt and milk based sweets etc.

Eligibility
Secured at least grade C in any two subjects i.e. Compulsory Mathematics, Compulsory Science or English and D+ in the remaining subject in School leaving Certificate (SLC) examination from recognized academic institution.
Syllabus
The course covers topics such as food processing, preservation, packaging, and quality control, as well as the principles of dairy technology and the production of dairy products such as milk, cheese, butter, yogurt and milk based sweets etc.
