Course Description:

In order to keep up with the rapid advancements in technology, this three-year Diploma program in computer engineering aims to produce middle-level skilled technicians who are up to date on the newest developments in computer and information technology. A lot of people in developed, developing, and underdeveloped nations have been encouraged to use computers more widely. The field of computer engineering has made significant contributions to global development and job creation in the public and private sectors.

Admission info

Entry Qualification
> SLC pass or SEE or equivalent with minimum C Grade (2.0 Grade Point) in Mathematics and Science and 1.6 Grade Point or equivalent in English and as per the provisions mentioned in the admission guidelines of Office of the Controller of Examinations, CTEVT.
> Pre-diploma in related subject or equivalent with minimum 68.33%.
> Pass entrance examination administered by CTEVT.

Syllabus

The duration of the three-year Diploma in Computer Engineering program is extensive. Every year consists of two semesters. Over the course of three years, there are a total of six semesters.

The foundational science courses for computer engineering, such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics, are taught in the first year. It also covers language courses in English and Nepali that are useful for communication in the information technology and computer engineering fields. The second-year courses concentrate on the fundamental computer engineering disciplinary topics. Comparably, third-year courses consist of disciplinary subjects and the application of acquired knowledge and skills through the provision of elective courses in particular computer engineering fields as well as major and minor projects.
