Course Description:

The curriculum of Diploma in Civil Engineering is intended to produce middle-level technical workers with knowledge and abilities in the field of civil engineering, in order to meet the need for such workers in the nation and support Nepal's economic development. In the field of civil engineering, the knowledge and abilities included in this curriculum will be useful in meeting both individual and national needs. A large number of individuals in developed, developing, and less developed nations have emphasized the wider application of civil engineering. This field has been assisting the global development of physical infrastructure overall and generating opportunities for self-employment and wages in both the public and private sectors.

Admission info

Eligibility
Secured at least grade C in Compulsory Mathematics, and Compulsory Science and Grade D+ in English in School leaving Certificate (SLC) examination from recognized academic institution.

Syllabus

Over the course of three years, there are a total of six semesters. The foundational and core engineering subjects are the focus of first-year courses, while the fundamental disciplinary subjects of civil engineering are the focus of second-year courses. Similar to this, the third-year full courses consist of six elective subjects in addition to the disciplinary subjects.
