Course Description:

Pokhara University is the first university in Nepal to introduce a bachelor’s degree that combines majors in both Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science. The program addresses the growing demand for professionals skilled in cutting-edge technologies that are shaping industries worldwide.

This program is expected to create new opportunities for students aspiring to specialize in fields such as machine learning, big data analytics, robotics, natural language processing, and advanced computational intelligence, thereby contributing to Nepal’s advancement in the digital era.

Syllabus

Eligibility Criteria:
- School Leaving Certificate Education (SLCE)/(10+2) level with Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Applied Mathematics (Full Marks 100 or 5 credits) or Computer Sciences/Computer Applications in Class 11 or Class 12 from the National Examinations Board or any other equivalent degree from a recognized board.
- Scored a minimum CGPA/GPA of 2.0 (on a scale of 4.0) with at least a Grade C (in the case of A-Level, at least a Grade D or 45% aggregate) along with 45% in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
- The minimum criterion of Grade C (in the case of A-Level, Grade D or 45%) does not apply to other courses or extra courses, if any.
