Course Description:

The BBA Program at the School of Management is an intensive four-year course designed to prepare individuals for careers as successful managers and entrepreneurs capable of coping with the complex world of today and of future.

The objective of this BBA Program is to assist the students to
> Develop critical thinking, analytical skills and conceptual ability to understand and solve problem in the business and social organizations
> Acquire practically relevant and theoretically sound knowledge of management required for career development in management and pursue further studies
> Develop professional, social, ethical and personal values and behavior.

Admission info

Eligibility
- Nepali or non-Nepali national with a 10+2 or intermediate or equivalent level study program of at least two-year duration in any discipline with minimum of 40% in aggregate or CGPA of 1.6 on the scale of 4.0 and minimum 'D+' grade in each subject from a university/board recognized by Kathmandu University.
- GCE Advanced Level student should have passed minimum three subjects in A level and one general paper in AS Level with marks/grade requirements as mentioned above.
- International Baccalaurate (IB) students should have passed minimum 6 courses (at least 3 courses in Higher Level) with 24 points in aggregate.
- CTEVT students should have three-year diploma with 40% in aggregate.
- CBSE students should have a minimum of 40% in aggregate.
- Ten percent seats are reserved for foreign studies

Note: Applicants who have appeared in grade 12 examination may apply o provisional basis. Applicants accepted provisionally must satisfy the above eligibility criteria to continue their study.

Applicants are required to sit for the Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Admission TEST (KUUMAT).

Syllabus

The BBA program is spread over eight semesters with a total academic load of 120 credit hours.It is intended to provide students with a more comprehensive understanding of the world, society, business, and life by combining the study of social sciences and humanities with the study of business and management.

The BBA curriculum is based on four specific learning competencies for beginning a career in management and advancing management knowledge.
