Shanker Dev Campus (SDC) is one of the Nepal's top ranked University for masters degree and bachelors degree for management education. SDC has become an outstanding Campus for business studies in the country today, characterized by its pioneering days in the field of management professional expertise, quality education and discipline.The campus runs programs in bachelor's ( BBS, BBA, BIM, BBM, BBA-FI) and master's degrees (MBM and MBS) in business studies.

Brief History
Shanker Dev Campus (SDC) was founded in 1951 as Nepal National College which was housed temporarily at Durbar High School and then at Tri-Chandra College in Kathmandu. The name of the college was changed in 1973 to Shanker Dev Campus following the government policy of amalgamating it into Tribhuvan University and recognizing Prof. Shanker Dev Pant's contributions, motivated primarily by his missionary zeal, towards purchasing a site and erecting a building for the college.

SDC aims:
(1) to develop networking with management institutes in the country and abroad to exchange new knowledge, technology and methods of higher level efficiency in management of business and public entities,
(2) to produce socially responsible and creative entrepreneurs capable of promoting business and industry for the socio-economic development of Nepal,
(3) to conduct research and management development programs for enhancing the knowledge and skill base of academics and practicing managers, (4) to develop managers for public sector with competency in public policy management and governance.

SDC offers the following undergraduate and graduate degree programmes:

Undergraduate Degree Programs:
1. BBS (Bachelor in Business Studies ): 4- year 8-semesters course
2. BBA ( Bachelor in Business Administration) 4-year 8-semesters course
3. BIM ( Bachelor in Information Management) 4-year 8-semesters course
4. BBM ( Bachelor in Business Management) 4-year course 8-semesters
5. BBA-F ( Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance) 4-year 8-semesters course

Graduate Degree programmes:
1. MBS ( Master of Business Studies) : 2-years 4-semesters course
2. MBM( Master of Business Management):  2-years 4-semesters course

Eligibility:
A. For BBA. BIM, BBM and BBA-Finance programs:
- Students who have obtained 60% or minimum CGPA 2.41 in 10+2 and 'C' grade or above in each subject of class 11th and 12th.

Admission Procedure:
1. CMAT Entrance Examination conducted by Faculty of Management (FOM), TU
2. Group Discussion/ Individual Presentation/ Personal Interviews

B. For BBS:
- Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from the recognized academic institutes with second division (securing 45% and above) or 1.8 CGPA are eligible to enroll in this program.

C. For MBS:
- Students must have successfully completed the BBS programme or a bachelor degree on any discipline from Tribhuvan University or from any other university recognized by Tribhuvan University

Admission Procedure for MBS:
- MBS-CMAT Entrance Examination conducted by Faculty of Management (FOM),TU

D. For MBM:
- Students who have completed BBS, BBA, BIM, or Equivalent with minimum 2nd division.

Admission Procedure for MBM:
1. MBMAT Entrance Examination (GMAT and GRE format) conducted by Faculty of Management (FOM), TU
2. Group Discussion/ Individual Presentation/ Personal Interviews.

Scholarships
Students who have studied SEE and 10+2 from government and community schools of Nepal, Faculty of Management, and Dean's Office will be given scholarships as per the rules of the Dean's Office, and those students who have completed their studies from such schools and who are interested in the scholarship should also apply for the scholarship in the prescribed format from the Dean's Office. Also, those students have to submit the recommendation of the village or municipality where the said school is government or community with the application.
