Shanker Dev Campus (SDC) was established as Nepal National College in 1951 AD as, initially at Durbar High School and then at Tri-Chandra College in Kathmandu. Following the government's plan to merge it with Tribhuvan University, it was renamed Shanker Dev Campus in 1973 AD to recognize Professor Shanker Dev Pant's efforts in purchasing a site and constructing a structure for the campus, which were largely motivated by his missionary zeal.

Shanker Dev Campus (SDC), as the pioneer constituent campus of Tribhuvan University (TU), is synonymous to management education in Nepal. The campus, located in the center of Kathmandu City (Putalisadak), houses highly professional, dedicated, and competent faculty as required who focus onproducing world-class management manpower.

Shankerdev Campus offers various undergraduate and graduate courses in business and management.
