Course Description:

Kathmandu University M.E. in Green Infrastructure Engineering program is designed to prepare engineers to build climate-resilient, sustainable infrastructure. The program places strong emphasis on green and nature-based infrastructure solutions.

Through this program, Kathmandu University aims to equip engineers with the knowledge and skills to develop sustainable, resilient infrastructure for the future.

Admission info

Nepalese and international applicants who have completed a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, architecture, or related engineering disciplines are eligible to apply.

Candidates must meet the minimum academic requirements set by Kathmandu University regulations, and final eligibility will be determined in accordance with the university's postgraduate admission regulations, as per the academic calendar.

Syllabus

The course places strong emphasis on research, field studies, and practical projects. The curriculum follows a 60-credit structure comprising 18 credits of core courses, 27 credits of interdepartmental electives, and a 15-credit thesis. Students also benefit from a flexible, customizable study plan that enables them to design their own interdisciplinary curriculum.
