Course Description:

IB is the acronym for the International Baccalaureate, an internationally recognised course. International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), is an international educational foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. IB offers four programmes. DP Program for Class XI and XII. Middle Years Programme (MYP) for class 8th to 10th and the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Kindergarten to Class 7th.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) offers a continuum of international education.In order to teach IB programmes, schools must be authorized. Every school authorized to offer IB programmes is known as an IB World School.

IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children aged 3 - 12 nurtures and develops young students as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning. The PYP offers an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding.The PYP curriculum framework begins with the premise that students are agents of their own learning and partners in the learning process. It prioritizes people and their relationships to build a strong learning community.

IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) emphasizes intellectual challenge. It encourages students aged 11 to 16 to make practical connections between their studies and the real world, preparing them for success in further study and in life. The programme empowers students to inquire into a wide range of issues and ideas of significance locally, nationally and globally. The result is young people who are creative, critical and reflective thinkers.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a two year pre-university international education programme for 16-19 year old students. It prepares students to become a critical thinker, problem solver, lifelong learner and independent thinker. It equips students with required skills and knowledge for university and higher education.

Career-related Programme (CP)
The Career-related Programme flexible educational framework allows schools to meet the needs, backgrounds and contexts of students. CP students engage with a rigorous study programme that genuinely interests them while gaining transferable and lifelong skills. The CP builds on earlier knowledge gained in the Middle Years Programme and integrates components of the Diploma Programme, which provides the theoretical foundation and academics.
