Course Description:
The BSW curriculum of Purbanchal University is generic in nature. The curriculum covers issues on child right, juvenile justice, gender, social work and industry, human right, family and social work, psychiatric social work, youth and elderly.
The social work program is of six semesters (3 years) with total 90 credit hours leading to a BSW degree. In addition to classroom training, field practicum (400 hours field practicum per semester), block field work, neighborhood camp, rural camp and urban camps are inherent elements.
