Course Description:

The Bachelor Programme in Architecture Engineering is the first, five year bachelor degree programme run by the TU. Students in this programme go through lectures, field-work laboratory exercises and site visits. Experienced and qualified faculties are involved in the programme.

It is a Five Years Course consisting of ten semesters of which one semester is a practicum. After passing this course, the graduates can he employed as Architects in Government and non-government organisations. They will also be eligible for admission to Master of Urban Planning course being offered by the Department.

Bachelor Programme in Architecture Engineering programme is being conducted with affiliation to Tribhuvan University (TU) and academic quality and other proceedings of the programme are controlled and guided by the Institute of Engineering (IOE), TU. Examination Control Division of IOE conducts examinations of the students. Tribhuvan University awards the certificates to the successful students.

Eligibility: 45% in ISc / +2 / A Level

Criteria: 100% Entrance

Form Distribution: 2 weeks before

The procedure consists of an entrance examination conducted by Institution of Engineering (IOE). To be eligible to appear in the entrance examination the candidates must have a minimum score of 45% at the Intermediate of Science (Physical group or Biological with two math papers), 10+2 (Physical group or Biological with two math papers), Diploma in engineering or an equivalent course recognized by Tribhuvan University.
For admission in Architecture, students need to appear an aptitude test conducted by IOE in addition to regular entrance exam. Students who have passed the entrance examination conducted by IOE are eligible to get admission at engineering college affiliated to TU on merit basis.

International students do not have to appear in entrance tests. Special entrance committee selects them for admission.
