Course Description:

Ten Plus Two (+2) Humanities is a two-year program affiliated with the National Examination Board (NEB) and designed for students interested in pursuing higher education in the humanities and social sciences.

The program combines language studies, mass communication, sociology, psychology, economics, marketing/business mathematics, contemporary society, and other subjects to provide students with a well-rounded education.

The primary goal of the Ten Plus Two (+2) humanities program is to provide students with a solid foundation in the humanities and social sciences. The program is intended to foster critical thinking, analytical abilities, and communication abilities. It also aims to prepare students for advanced studies in the humanities.

Students will have developed critical thinking, analytical skills, and communication skills by the end of the program. They will also have a solid foundation in the humanities and social sciences, preparing them for further studies in the field.

Career Prospects:
Graduates of the Ten Plus Two (+2) program in humanities can pursue a variety of careers, including:
Journalism, Law, Public Administration, Teaching, Social Work.

Eligibility
Students must have completed SEE or equivalent with a minimum GPA 1.6. He/She should have minimum D+ in English, Nepali and Social Studies.

Curricular Structure
The Curriculum Development Center recently unveiled the new 11th and 12th grade curriculum. The new curriculum has done away with the system of specific stream-based education, such as Ten Plus Two Science, Management, Humanities, and so on.
