Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS) is an institution established in collaboration between Kathmandu University and Dhulikhel Hospital. KUSMS is one of the nine schools of Kathmandu University offering medical, nursing and allied health science program.

High-quality education with special features like community-oriented teaching, problem-based learning and use of modern pedagogical approaches make KUSMS programs unique. Its infrastructure, academic environment and top-class faculty and staffs are the biggest assets of its  programs. Its graduates working in reputed institutions nationally and internationally are the testimony of its success.

KUSMS launched its own constituent MBBS program in August 2001. The school has infrastructure and physical facilities at two locations: Basic sciences building at a hilltop at Chaukot, Panauti Municipality-1 and the main teaching hospital is situated at Dhulikhel. Both locations are in close access to the Kathmandu University Complex.
