1 People & Organization Development Officer (POD Officer)
JOB PURPOSE:
The POD officer, under the supervision of POD Manager, will be responsible for all aspects of WAN HR issues. The role will be required to support the POD Manager in day-to-day HR operations, which further supports implementation of WAN Country Programme Strategy implementation. The person upholds and advises employees on WA values.


Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
> Bachelors Degree in Human Resource or any relevant discipline.
> A minimum of 2 year experience in similar role
> Experience in managing recruitment, basic HR documentation processes, benefits and payroll
> IT skills particularly MS Word, Excel and Outlook, with experience of using HR databases, online recruitment tools and Intranets
> Strong communication skills in written and oral English and Nepali.
> Strong sense of discretion and ability to manage information of a confidential / sensitive nature Desirable
> Professional HR qualification desirable
> Experience of working in a matrix management structure
> Knowledge of HR best practice and innovative new practices
> Knowledge understanding and application of employment law
