At Restless Development, we’re proud to be the banner carrier for youth-led development, demonstrating from the grassroots to the global policy levels that young people can and must play a lead role in development.  As a result, Restless Development is repeatedly cited as a model of best practice in youth-led development by the World Bank, the UK Department for International Development (DFID), UNICEF, UNAIDS and others.

In Nepal, Restless Development has been working in the youth and adolescents development sector for more than 25 years. It is the recipient of several international and national awards. It works in formal partnership with Ministry of Youth and Sports and in over 35 districts across the country. We are implementing nine different projects targeting sexual rights, leadership or livelihood issues with the aim to include young people as part of the solution of the persistent problems facing the world.

We are seeking adynamic, self-motivated, with high sense of integrity person to join the our team.The Senior Program Development and Quality Manager will be responsible to oversee and lead the activities developed by Restless Development Nepal MEL Unit and Investment and Partnership Unit.He /She will also lead the design and development of high quality youth-focused programs that contribute to Restless Development strategy and Sustainable Development Goals.

> Closing date: Friday 15th September 2017
> Salary: NPR 2,406,439 per annum
> Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Graduate degree (Master's preferable) in relevant field
> Minimum of  eight years’ experience in development sector
> Minimum of three years’ lead experience in monitoring and evaluation, including design of systems and tools, data analysis and report writing
> Minimum of three years’ lead experience in designing projects and developing partnerships.
> Experience of working with government and other development partners.
> Experience in programme and people management
> Experience of line and performance managing people
>  Fluent written and spoken English
> Excellent IT skills
> Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
>  Individual must be results orientated, highly self-motivated and have demonstrated analytical skills

> Previous work experience in Nepal or in rural areas
> A clear understanding of contemporary development issues and trends of young people in the field of national and international development
> Experience of line and performance managing people
> Experience of designing and managing multi-site projects
> Experience in handling budgets and finances
> Nepali language skills
> High level of motivation and ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
> Experience with online reporting systems.  
> Valid driving license (car/motor bike/scooter)

Preferred start date: 1st October 2017
