Vacancy notice:
Our Client, Reliance Life Insurance Ltd. is an upcoming Life Insurance Company promoted by eminent Business Conglomerate of the Country, leading Business & Industrial Houses in Nepal including Siddhartha Bank Ltd., a leading Commercial Bank. The Company is all set to carve a niche in Life Insurance Industry, by taking another step forward to offer need-based Life Insurance solutions to Individuals, Corporates and other Stakeholders.

Reliance Life seeks application from highly competent, energetic & self-motivated Nepali individuals in the following positions:

1.Chief Executive Officer-(One) Base: Kathmandu
The CEO of Reliance Life is delegated the responsibility for all activities including the management, operation and development of the Company. CEO directly reports to the Reliance Life’s board and is in complete charge of formation and efficient running of the Company. The CEO has the professional leadership responsibility to develop and lead organization and grow it to become one of the leading Life Insurance Companies in the Country.

Required Qualifications & Experiences:
> Master’s degree or Equivalence in Insurance or Management or Finance or Accounts or Economics or Commerce or Law or Mathematics or Statistics or Engineering; OR Chartered Accountant
> Managerial Level in Insurance Sector – Minimum 5 Years; or
> Managerial Level in Banking Sector – 8 Years; or
> Managerial Level in Both Insurance & Banking Sector -1 Year in Insurance + 6 Years in Banking

2.Chief Business Officer – (One) Base: Kathmandu
This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering revenue targets through multiple Agency & Branch Operations, drive B2B Business generation, ensure highest standards of quality of business, drive overall strategic and tactical sales and marketing plan. S/he shall drive innovation; build a sustainable and scalable team with an immense thrust in business generation.

Required Qualifications & Experiences:
> Strong business acumen.
> A consultative and sympathetic style aimed at forming deep and profitable relationships with partners.
> Strong leadership and strategic skills.
> Professional maturity and strategic thinking.
> Master’s degree in any Business-related field, with a minimum of 6 years Managerial experience in Sales and Business development of Insurance & Banking Institution.

3.Chief Operating Officer – (One) Base: Kathmandu
This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The incumbent will be responsible to oversee and maintain operating efficiency in IT, Administration, HR, Claims, Underwriting & Reinsurance Departments. Department Heads of these departments report to COO.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
> Structural & Systematic Approach to management of above-mentioned departments.
> Strong leadership and strategic skills.
> Professional maturity and strategic thinking.
> Master’s degree in any Business-related field, with a minimum of 6 years Managerial experience in Underwriting, Reinsurance, Claims, and HR areas of Life Insurance Company/ies.



4.Chief Finance Officer – (One) Base: Kathmandu
This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer. As a new economy CFO, the incumbent will be working as a ‘Business Partner’ to the CEO and will be responsible for overall Financial Management of the Company. Also, s/he will be involved as a Coordinator for ‘Investment Committee.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
> Structural & Systematic Approach to Financial Management of the Company.
> Strong leadership and strategic skills.
> Professional maturity and strategic thinking.
> Chartered Accountant or Master’s degree in Finance, with a minimum of 6 years Managerial experience in Financial Management of Life Insurance Company/ies.

5.Head of Departments – IT, HR/Admin, Claims, Underwriting/RI – (Four) Base : Kathmandu

These roles report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Required Skills & Qualifications:
> Structural & Systematic Approach to management of respective departments.
> Management Graduate with a minimum of 3 years Managerial experience in respective Departments of Life Insurance Companies.

6.Branch Managers -Inside & Outside Kathmandu Valley- (Fourteen)
Base: Various Locations (Inside & Outside Valley)
Branch Managers report to Chief Business Officer (CBO). Primary Job Objectives of BMs are Business Development skits, expansion of agency networks with excellent leadership and communication skits.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
> Responsible to manage robust and profitable agency distribution network.
> Responsible for quality team development and playing important role in expanding the business.
> Minimum Graduate, MBA (Marketing) preferred, with 3 years of work experience, preferably in Branch management and sales.
> Preference will be given to those with experience in Life Insurance Industry with leading companies, preferably with Agency Sales Team.

7.Head – Corporate/Foreign Employment & Micro Business – (One) Base: Kathmandu
The role reports to Chief Business Officer. Primary role of this business is to build and enhance Corporate, Foreign Employment and Micro Business of the Company.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
> Must have excellent Business Acumen to drive Corporate, Foreign Employment & Micro Business of the Company.
> Minimum Graduate (MBA will be preferred) with 3 years’ experience, experience in Corporate sales /Institutional sales and managing alternate Delivery Channel will be an added advantage.

8.Head – Internal Audit & Compliance – (One) Base: Kathmandu
The role reports to Board Level Audit Committee. Key role of this function is to ensure proper Corporate Governance in the Company and provide constructive feedback in maintaining and improving rule-of-law governance practices.

Required Qualification:
> Chartered Accountant with 5 years’ experience in managerial position of Audit & Compliance Department of a Life Insurance Company.

9.Officers – (Several) Base: Kathmandu
Required Qualification:
> Graduate in Management with relevant experience in Life Insurance Companies & Financial Institutions.

10.Assistants- (Several) Base: Various Locations (Inside & Outside Valley)
Required Qualification:
> Fresh Graduates in Management will be preferred.
> Excellent interpersonal skills as well as solid written and oral communication skills
> Self-driven, independent minded and goal-oriented.
