HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal is a Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged people in Nepal. The Safer Migration Project (SaMi) is a bilateral initiative between the Government of Switzerland and the Government of Nepal. The project is implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal and Ministry of labour and Employment with the purpose to contribute to safer migration. SaMi/HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal invites applications from Nepali citizens for the following position:

District Project Coordinator
Job Purpose: The District Project Coordinator is responsible for overall coordination in programme implementation in the working Palikas of the district. The incumbent promotes decentralised and pluralistic extension and research system in the respective Palikas. S/He plays lead role in the capacity needs assessments of local service providers and farmer organisations, and in the facilitation of organising the required actions. S/He is responsible for strengthening district and Palika level stakeholder relations, collaboration and fund flow management. S/He supports the Cluster Coordinator in administrative and project management activities.

Reporting to: Cluster Coordinator(Dailekh)

Required Education, Experience and Social Competency:
Bachelor in Agriculture Science or relevant discipline with minimum 2 years working experience and proven experiences working on local governance, gender equality and social inclusion issues.

Duration: Till 31st December 2019 with possibility of extension

Remuneration and Benefits: As per the rules and regulations of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal.
